Hooray for Hollywood!
Just in time for the 86th AcademyAwards, Yellow Canary worked with Viva Bella Events on a Tinsel Town themed Bat Mitzvah for for Haley and voilĂ Hooray for HALEYWOOD!
Texture Part Three: Materials
An event rich in texture and imagination will not soon be forgotten. Gone are the days of matchy-matchy decor; people want depth and individuality! The perfect blend of "smooth" and "rough" is a great platform for texturizing the decor plan. The materials used are imperative! Stout succulents and delicate orchids mix well with the richly textured hydrangia or the impossible whorls of the garden rose or ranunculus.

Texture: Part One- Subtle Texture with Linens

Texture is such an integral part of overall design and richness. Better Homes and Gardens's article "Make an Impact with Texture" noted, "Color and pattern definitely make a statement. Texture may not be as obvious, but the impact can be just as dramatic. Make conscious choices about how and where you add texture and your decor will thank you."
So true, so true! Texture can be subtle, a lush tablecloth or a tablecloth with subtle but elegant details, instead of the standard linen.
